This section is where it’s all about you guys, the fans. Without you listening to the band, going to concerts, and spreading the word, the band wouldn’t be where they are today. Whether you’ve been with them since Day 1 or found them a week ago, this is your chance to introduce yourself to the band.

Yearbook Picture/“Bio”

Everybody has their yearbook picture and a little blurb about them, and this won’t be much different. For this part, send in:

• A photo of yourself - could be any photo… you with a member, you at a show, you in your Hey Monday merch, etc. etc.
• Name/location 
• How you found Hey Monday
• Times you’ve seen Hey Monday
• Favorite song/lyric
• Dream setlist

It Made My Day!

If the band has ever tweeted you, or a member has said something to you before/after/during a show that has been significant to you, highlight it here. Send in screencaps or your replies or a quotes of something they’ve said that has mattered to you.

You have until this Friday, August 12th, to send in anything for Section 3.

If you run a Hey Monday related website, team, Twitter account, Tumblr, or anything else, this section is for you.

What you need to send:

• Picture of the ‘staff’ (optional)
• Name of site/links
• Reason for starting the site
• If you’ve interviewed the member/band, send a link
• Anything else you’d like to include

Section 3: Clubs
Deadline: August 12th
If you’ve ever picked up a yearbook, you’ve realized that every yearbook has a section for the clubs/teams, and this one is no different! This part of the project is dedicated to anyone who runs a Hey Monday related Twitter, Tumblr, website, etc. It can be for a single member (for example, a site dedicated to Alex, Mike, Cass or Pat) or for the entire band. It doesn’t matter if you have 5 followers or 5,000 – if you’ve spent your time promoting Hey Monday or supporting them on your site, this section is for you.

For this section, if you run a site, just e-mail us the following:

• Picture of the “staff” – if you’re the only person running the site, just send in a picture of yourself (this is optional, so you don’t need to feel pressured into sending in a picture). You can also include pictures of yourself with the band/members
• What site you run with links (i.e. if you have a site, a Twitter and a Tumblr, send it all in)
• Why you started the site for the band/that member
• If you’ve ever done an interview for your site, include a link so we can add screencaps!
• If you’ve done an interview, your favorite moments
• Anything else you’d like to include (this can be ANYTHING – it’s up to you. It’s your site and your call)

This is your opportunity to be recognized by the band for your hard work, so be sure to send in your information to thelgrproject@gmail.com!

Submit your pictures with the members of Hey Monday/the band by FRIDAY, July 29. This project is all about the fans, and it can’t be done without your help. If you have any pictures with any of the members, or even a picture of yourself with the whole band, send it in to thelgrproject@gmail.com by this Friday.

If you can, tell all your followers/friends/fellow fans about this project. We want as many people involved as we can get.

(And, to thank you for submitting to either this section or the previous one, each submission counts as an extra entry in our next contest, which will happen when we have 1,000 followers)

That sounds like an amazing idea! I’d love to include it, and I’ll definitely work it into the scrapbook. Send them in and I’ll figure it out :)

If anyone else has an idea, be sure to send it in. This project is about the fans, and don’t think any idea is too small!

Submissions for Section 2 are due NEXT FRIDAY, July 29th.

What can I submit?
Submit your pictures with the members. They can be individual pictures, they can be group pictures, and there’s no limit. Send in as few or as many as you’d like. You can also send in your favorite pictures of the members over the years (just be sure to credit the photographer, if it’s noted/you know). 

What if I haven’t met them/don’t have favorite pictures?
There are SEVERAL other pieces to this section than the fan pictures. For example:

• Cassadee: Pictures of yourself wearing her Macbeth Collaboration, thoughts on her appearance on Degrassi, and pictures/thoughts of her appearances in other musicians’ songs, whether live or recorded.
• Mike: Favorite tweets of his, little (short) notes to him, and even something like answering one of your questions on Formspring - send in a cap of it!
• Alex: Pictures of yourself wearing his Koalawalla Collaboration, favorite tweets, anything you can think of.
• Pat/Chris: Welcome to the band notes, as well as favorite tweets.

We want this project to be HUGE, and can’t do it without your help. Whether you have one thing to submit or 20, we’d love to have it. Of course, you’re going to be credited for what you send in.

This is the part where the project starts getting personal. We’re going to have a separate section for each official member of the group, as well as a section for Chris, who, in case you didn’t know, is their current touring bassist. For this section, we need you to submit your favorite pictures of the members, as well as any pictures you have with them. You can also include favorite things you like of theirs, such as tweets, blogs, or maybe even their fashion sense. If the member/band has a collaboration (like Cassadee’s shoes and Alex’s Pimpshaw tank, or the band collabs such as the GK or So So Happy shirt), send in a picture of yourself wearing it!

Tomorrow is the last day to submit something for Section 1 of the project. Section 1 is all about the live show, so if you have any live photos from a Hey Monday show, whether it was a tour or just an acoustic set, send them in to either thelgrproject@gmail.com or our ask box. Don’t miss out on your chance to be part of this project!

Hey guys! For our big project, we’ve decided to have a few activities. For now, all you need to do is watch the Homecoming video and submit your feedback - whether it’s your favorite music video, you have a favorite moment, or you just want to comment on how the band looked. You can tweet it to us, or leave it in our ask.

Submissions for section 1 are due Friday, July 8th. To clear up any questions:

• Any tour pictures you have of the band live, from ANY show they’ve played

• Right now, we’re focusing on getting one section done, before we jump into the next ones. If you want to send in stuff for those sections, feel free, but we’d rather split up the submissions to be more organized, both for us and you guys.

ALSO. If you have any ideas for sections or sub-sections for any part of the scrapbook, send us an e-mail. We’d LOVE your input. Be sure to tell any friends or followers you have that are fans of Hey Monday. We want to make this project HUGE.
